Reflections of AED 200
1. What were you expectations for this course and where they met?
Going in to this course I really did not have any expectations of it because I registered for it on the last day. I was lucky to have gotten into the course. I just wanted to finish my art credits.
2. Now that you've been through this course, What is art? How would you define it now compared to your intial posting?
Now That I have been through the whole course I know that art is anything. Before in my answer to what was art i limited art to be something merely expressive. Now i know that it can be a lot more than that. Art can be revolutionary and inspiring. Like I said after this class I know art can really be anything,
3. Who was your favorite artist in your original posting and who is your favorite visual artist now? If there is a difference, why do you think so? If you have the same favorite artist, why do you think so?
Going in to the class my favorite artist was Frida Kahlo. Now that I am done with the class i have the same favorite artist Frida Kahlo. The reason she is is because with her self portrait she showed me more than who she was. She showed me her straggles and her fears. Not every artist can do such a thing.
4. Now that you've completed this course, how do you feel about taking an online course? Is your answer the same as it was in your first posting? How is it the same or different?
this i not my fis=rst online class at all. However, I could say that this was the first online class in which i actually learned something. The fact that is was huge amount of work due every week forced me to work harder and learn. Nonetheless, there were some week where work became too much. Other than that, i recommend that everyone takes this class online.
