Reviewing Peer Responses to Artwork

1. Hyperlink the Blogs you reviewed into your blog

2. When looking at Project #1: (Elements and Principles), did you agree with the element or principle the artist listed with the images? Did you see other elements and principles in the images?

I think that looking at both projects I agreed with the element and principles of Jessica more than Graciella. However, they both did a good job. Graciela just needs to put more detail and carefulness into her project. Other than that she would be fine. With Graciell, I did not agree with her movement shot because it was just a girl sitting on the couch. She also had two photos with lines. I also did not see a pattern in her pattern photo. Jessica's picture were amazing. Everyone should check heir's. Her emphasis picture was phenomenal. her line picture surprised me because when I think a a line I think straight line. Nonetheless, on her line picture she job a cricked line on the floor. It is still a line therefore its good.

3. When looking at Project #2: Where there any images in the Peer Blogs the same as your own? If yes, what were they? Where the reasons the image was selected the same or different as your own?

The funny thing about looking at people;s project is that you find out they chose similar thing than you did. Maybe, for the wrong reasons. Jessica Sweet, had the Self-Portrait with monkeys by Frida khalo. I also had the same picture. Nevertheless, the reasons we were attracted to the same art work was different. She picked it because she liked how well defined the monkey looked and how prominent the eyebrows on Frida khalo were. I as attracted to it because I was already familiar not with the painting but ith the artist. Moreover, seeing the reason why she picked it made me realised things i sis not see before. like the monkey.

4. Where there any images that your Peers selected that pique your interest now? If yes, what are they and what is your connection with them? What would you want to know about them?

A piece that Jessica had was Volcano it attracted me because of the abstract way the artist drew the volcano. I believe that I would like to see more art works from this artist to see in what abstract ways does he or she paints other disasters.

5. What do you think about  the process of reading your peers reflection? Do you find this to be a valuable in your learning?

The process of reading my peers reflections and projects was helpful. It was a learning experience to see the type of things other people came up with during the same process i had to go through. I felt like i was a art critique. That, made me feel like I understood the concepts and principles of art even more now. The reason being that I got to review other peoples pictures.

6. Check your Blog and read comments posted by your Peers. Do you find their comments helpful?

checking the comments that my peers posted was insulting at first. I feel like they did not know what they were talking about. However after thinking about it i feel better because their comments made me learn more about the art work and about what I did wrong. it also made me feel good when they had positive comments for some of the art work.
